Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a
Bachelor's degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Delhi SI : Bachelor Degree in Any Stream with Driving License.
- Other Post : Bachelor Degree in Any Stream in Any Recognized University in India.

Aspiring candidates for the post of Sub-Inspector (SI) in
Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) need to meet specific
physical standards to be eligible for the recruitment. The physical eligibility
criteria are as follows:-
Height:
- For Male Candidates: Minimum height of 170 cm. Relaxation in height is provided to candidates belonging to certain categories as per government norms.
- For Female Candidates: Minimum height of 157 cm. Similar relaxation in height is applicable for eligible candidates.
- For Male Candidates: The chest must be at least 80 cm (with a minimum expansion of 5 cm).
- Relaxation in chest measurements is granted for eligible candidates as per the guidelines.
- For both Male and Female Candidates: Candidates must have a proportionate weight as per their height and age.
- 100 meters race in 16 seconds
- 1.6 km race in 6.5 minutes
- Long Jump: 3.65 meters in 3 chances
- High Jump: 1.2 meters in 3 chances
- Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 meters in 3 chances
Female Candidates:
- 100 meters race in 18 seconds
- 800 meters race in 4 minutes
- Long Jump: 2.7 meters in 3 chances
- High Jump: 0.9 meters in 3 chances

Physical Standard Test (PST):
- Male and Female Candidates:
